Meet Mark

Welcome to our timber framing business, proudly rooted in the heart of Clear Creek, Wisconsin. My name is Mark Turner, and I am the founder and master craftsman behind our operations. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Woodworking and Furniture Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, my journey into the world of timber framing has been both diverse and deeply fulfilling.

For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to the art and craft of timber framing. My professional journey has taken me through various facets of woodworking, including cabinet making, stair building, and even boat building. Each of these experiences has enriched my skills and deepened my appreciation for the timeless beauty and structural integrity that timber framing offers.

Our business is a labor of love, run from the farm my wife Hannah and I purchased here in Clear Creek. Together, we have transformed two of the farm's outbuildings into a fully equipped workspace where tradition meets innovation. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship and sustainable practices is at the core of everything we do.
